Operation Rifleman

Weather - Sunny, HOT (90 degrees?) Breezy
Range Condition - Fully overgrown with no mower available

WC1 hosted this training day for the SMVM.

Training consisted of an in-depth rifle skills course covering everything from basic to
advanced skills in multiple areas:

- shooting positions
- advanced immediate and remedial action drills
- detailed examination of your "zero" and why it matters
- the application of multiple shooting positions from behind cover
- target accuracy, shooting to qualify
- combat accuracy
- shooting on the move

Our Firearms Instructor normally charges $80 a head for this class and we did it all for
FREE!

HOO-YAH

Also of note: Chuckwagon brought out his little guy for his first visit to the range at Camp
Stasa and Super Six, back from his "bigfoot hunting trip" made the day just that much
more interesting!

Don't forget the tactical shoot later this month!  Let's hope for a little cooler weather!

Stay Safe

take a break from the training during
Operation Rifleman.
Waist-high in places, the grass was too tall for anything but the
kneeling or offhand positions.
Prone was possible only at the 25M line.

Shoot
